Spang corporate film

Everyone knows flowerpots. But where do they actually come from? Ransbach-Baumbach, and they have been made there since 1912.

The Westerwald flowerpot manufacturer Spang is a family business, and the corporate film needed to reflect that: down-to-earth, approachable, and with plenty of energy. Down-to-earth in the truest sense, because everything here starts with clay. We show what you don't see from the outside: mechanics working on the machinery, electricians at the robots, logistics, administration, and a father and son walking through the factory together. It also covers the journey from clay to shaping, firing, and powder coating in a variety of colors.

It kicks off with an FPV drone flight through the Westerwald, down into the valley, ending with the tagline: "Spang. Home of the Flowerpot." In between, there are fast cuts, machine sounds, and a custom-designed soundscape. There was plenty of clay in this project—both from the pit and from the speakers.

We filmed over several days in August 2026 during ongoing operations, in parallel with the photography and the process film. The corporate film is available in both German and English. From the Westerwald to the whole world. Just like the pots.
